I have started a new small farm – Many Forks Farm – on leased land in Clarksburg, MA. This spring has been quite the flurry as my lease was only confirmed on March 1! This is something I’ve thought about for many years (about 25 of them while life took many forks) and decided it was now or never. This season I will sell my produce at the North Adams Farmers Market, several small markets at North Berkshire housing complexes and perhaps a restaurant or two while I get my feet on the ground growing at a larger scale, improving the soil and getting infrastructure/systems up and running. Pardon the undeveloped website – this will improve soon, but for now let me tell you about. . . .
The first crop for Many Forks Farm is a fine batch of tomato seedings – heirlooms and other unique varieties. They’ll be rearing to go into the ground at the end of May.

Or, come out to Cricket Creek Farm in Williamstown on Saturday, May 26 from 10AM – 2PM for an heirloom tomato plant sale of Many Forks tomato seedlings. Directions — http://www.cricketcreekfarm.com/?page=locale — And, be sure to stop in the Cricket Creek Farm Store for milk, cheese, bread, farm-raised meats, and other local food products, too.
Many thanks from Many Forks!
