To eliminate financial barriers to participation in the CSA Farm Share program at MANY FORKS FARM, reduced-priced shares are available to those meeting income guidelines. We are committed to being sure anyone who wishes to participate in the farm with a CSA shares is able to do so!
Here is a summary of how the process works: We work with our community partners, Hoosac Harvest and Berkshire Grown/Share the Bounty. A simple screening with Hoosac Harvest determineS your reduced-price for the CSA share, typically 50% or less of the full price. If you decide you would like a share, we ask that you pay a $25.00 deposit towards your reduced price. This is fully refundable should your plans change and is applied toward your cost. You set up a payment plan with Hoosac Harvest, or SNAP payments with the farm. MANY FORKS FARM is a certified Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) vendor and your CSA/SNAP payments are qualified for your HIP benefit.
